How the Lamborghini Murciélago Was Born:

Lamborghini Murciélago

Lamborghini Murciélago

Murciélago was the name of a legendary bull who fought in the bullring of Cordoba with such spirit and courage that he was one of the few animals ever to be spared by the matador.

Having survived his bullfight with a full pardon, he lived in the Spanish sunshine and was mated with 70 cows – his bloodline still exists today.

Lamborghini named their new supercar after this remarkable animal.  The Lamborghini Murciélago is a V12 powered road car introduced in 2002 as successor to the Diablo.
