Update on TOMS Shoes

In 2006, Blake Mycoskie founded TOMS Shoes, a company with one simple premise – to help children thrive. They have achieved this goal through their “One for One” movement. When you buy a pair of Toms, they give a pair to a child in need. So far, TOMS has given 300,000 pairs of shoes to needy children in the United States (Louisiana, Kentucky, Mississippi and Florida), Argentina, Ethiopia, Haiti, and South Africa. They hope to sell 300,000 more pairs in 2009.
